Dangerous stunts

Opinion:
Child labor and abuse of children under the 14 years remains focus item in India despite the fact that laws exist to combat such practices. Parents who cannot provide the care and upbringing of their children are often forced to outsource. The middle class lives in the belief that they are helping the children, because food, clothing and shelter are given. In reality this is exploitation of cheap labor. Working minors are making long hours and days without a defense against their exploitation. They miss their carefree childhood. They do not know better. For me it is clear that their living conditions can be counted to a disaster. These kids really deserve a childhood and future.

In response to a petition filed in court by the Indian Child Movement, The Indian Supreme Court has ordered circuses to cease the use of underage children. This is about saving children who perform dangerous stunts such as high-wire acrobatics without a safety net. This stringent employment (training) at young age (children under 14 years) had been previously banned by India's Child Labour Act. Arguments as training from young age and crucial for developing skills could not affect the court's decision. The child welfare department has the task to identify these children and make arrangements for their care and upbringing as the parents are unable to do so.

Farewell to Puttaparthi´s living God.

Sai Baba known for its orange robes, his hair and his supernatural powers deceased last week at the age of eighty-four. Critics continually comment on his so-called miracles and the situations in his ashrams. Key persons along with his immediate family came together in the ashram to perform the last death rituals for him. The followers of Sai Baba's could see everything live outside the ashram on a large screen monitor. Sai Baba was seen as a saint and was not cremated as is common with in Hindu religion. His body was buried in a glass coffin.

Opinion:
I have been thinking about the miracles of Sai Baba. Can a man really have supernatural powers? How and who subsidize the ashrams, clinics and hospitals in over 126 countries? Remarkable in the report about his last rites was there were not much of Hindu death rituals to be seen.
Sai Baba has also made
predictions about his own life here on earth. After his first 95 years he would leave this body. I think he has made an estimation error. This shows that as a human being you are unable to predict your own death and the future. I am very curious who will now run his million roepies empire.

Busy royal diary!

A week before the wedding ceremony of Kate Middleton and Prince William it is definitely not quiet at Windsor Castle.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh have met Kate´s parents last week.
Kate  Middleton was unlike her parents almost equal introduced to the Queen.
The future parents of her grandson were not previously able to meet the Queen than the intention was. This had to do with her busy royal diary.
The event was planned before the engagement announcement. Yet questions remain as to why such a meeting eventually took place after the couple´s eight -year courtship

Opinion:
After reading the article above it seems like the queen really lives by the strict protocols of the royal family. A meeting with Kate Middleton then girlfriend of her grandson Prince William seems more important than a meeting with her parents. It appears that this queen grandmother is much in control. If I compare her with our Queen, I know that Queen Beatrix is more modern set. She has some modern ideas and approaches of the protocols. the world I also look forward to this royal wedding. Still I remain curious about the reasons why the meeting eventually took place and was possible after eight years .Was it really her busy agenda-setting?
